Studio RMA's design process is holistic driven, it looks at the whole of the project: the local site, operational requirements, local energies that can be captured and the interior and structural requirements.

 

The process starts with site evaluation, research of applicable renewable energy supplies and identifies the potential energy solutions and the integrated aesthetics of the design.

 

Next in a 3-d digital computer model, Studio RMA, starts modeling the home. This 3-D model is connected to software that calculates the most efficient way to create the structure of the home and to maximize its energy gain.

 

The design can be changed around to the clients wishes, and the software updates the gain or loss in energy capture and efficiency of structural design. Both are important facts for the construction and operation costs.
