The Studio's ability to design carbon-neutral homes, where all the energy and utility supplies the home needs are created through its integrated aesthetic/ structural and energy modeling software, now allows for luxury homes to be fully grid independent.

 

The Hi'ilani EcoHouse for example features luxery living ammenity; offices, a media room, recording facility, spa, and an in-house nursing facility. The home is designed off the grid, and provides its own drinking water.

 

This design technology can be adapted to a larger site development eliminating the high up-front costs of utility infrastructures as each of the homes can be designed with their own energy/utility supply and waste management system.
